Heart cake

This was a plain vanilla round cake, that I carved into a heart and covered it with plastic icing. I used flower cutters to indent the flowers where-after I painted all the petals.

I received a request for a Go kart cake that co-incited with Top Gear festival in Durban. All the decorations were made from plastic icing.

Topsy Turvy / Whimsical cake

This two tier topsy turvy cake was for a young lady on her 13th birthday. Both tiers were chocolate cake and covered with plastic icing. I piped the detail on the bottom tier with royal icing.

Present cake

I made this present cake for a lady that works in our office. This was her present to take home and share the cake with her family on her 50th birthday. I covered the cake with white plastic icing and dusted the cake with lilac powder for the shimmering effect.

Bar cake

This bar cake was complete with a glitter ball, shooters, lemons, cherries and a last round bell. I carved the cake from a square cake and covered it with plastic icing.

Dora and ManU

I made a Dora the Explorer and Manchester United images from royal icing. A nice alternative to printed images.
