Dragon cakes was the order of the day, but with a catch. The request was not for one, but two dragons. What a challenge! I loved making these two carved dragon cakes for a brother and sisters on their birthday.

Photo cake

This photo cake was for a lady on her 85th birthday. The family wanted photos of her children and grandchildren on the cake as most of them could not be at this special event. The cake was finished off with flowers, made from plastic icing, and her favourite saying " my Life is but a Weaving".

I did this cake for my friend who loves sewing. I looked around for a few cake ideas, and stumbled upon this cake. And I decided I can give it a go. I made all the decorations with plastic icing.

Land Cruiser

I designed this cake for a 60th birthday. This guy loves doing 4x4 trails and his Land Cruiser. So it is more than fitting that he should get a Land Cruiser for his Birthday. The Land Cruiser was made of Rice Krispie treats and covered with plastic icing.

This is just a plain Spider-Man mask cake. I piped the web with black royal icing.

Snake on a cake

While considering a cake for a 60th birthday, my friend told me her dad has snakes. Not my favourite subject, but still a challenge. The rock is cake, where the snake was made with plastic icing and hand painted.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a very popular Disney show, and the little ones love it. I had to give it a go for this little boy's birthday, with the help of Rice Krispie treats of course.
